As the football season moves into the final stretch of the regular season, each game means more and more. With the pressure on, these players turned in showings that are worthy enough to be considered as Hall of Fame Performance of the Week.
Florida used a two-headed running back monster to devour Georgia’s vaunted rushing defense. Matt Jones and Kelvin Taylor combined for 50 carries and 389 yards on the ground, churning out four touchdowns as the Gators stunned the Bulldogs 38-20.
Tennessee has found its quarterback of the future as freshman Joshua Dobbs was a one-man wrecking crew for the Vols, leading them in a furious comeback win over South Carolina. Dobbs was 23-of-40 for 301 yards and two touchdown passes, while rushing 24 times for 166 yards and three scores.
Southern California wide receiver Nelson Agholor continues to assemble an impressive resume with a 220-yard performance against Utah. For good measure, he also returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown.
Lastly, Scooby Wright III from Arizona turned in a performance for the ages against the high-powered UCLA offense. He finished with 19 tackles, 4.5 of them for a loss, and three sacks.
