Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame honors active and retired military everyday

The Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame celebrates its rich military heritage this Veteran’s Day and every day with free admission for all active duty and retired members of all military branches. Family members also receive a special admission rate.

“As the nation comes together to honor the sacrifices of all military members, past and present, we are reminded of football’s role in American history. This great game is embedded in the fabric of our country, ” said Dennis Adamovich, CEO of the Hall of Fame. “While many veterans have had impressive collegiate football careers, what they accomplished for our country far outweighs what took place on the field and they have a special place in our attraction and in our hearts.”

Founded in 1951 by General Douglas MacArthur, legendary Army coach Earl “Red” Blaik and renowned journalist Grantland Rice, the Hall of Fame also honors its current staff members who have served in the military. With a combined 13 years of active duty, the Hall of Fame has two veterans on staff, one who served in the Army as well as one who served in both the Navy and the Army.
