Reggie Bush College Football Hall of Fame

USC Trojans legend Reggie Bush, one of the greatest running backs in the history of the college game, headed to Atlanta this weekend for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, a long-overdue honor for a player who retired from pro football after 2016.

Current USC head coach Lincoln Riley was in attendance to offer his support.

During his uniquely brief stint with the program (from 2003-05), Bush led the club to the 2004 BCS National Championship in 2004 and was a two-time AP National Champion. He also won a raft of accolades, including the 2005 Heisman Trophy, the 2005 Doak Walker Award, and the Walter Camp Award, while being named the AP College Football Player of the Year, and the Sporting News Player of the Year. The 5'11", 203-pound back was a two-time Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year, and a two-time consensus All-American.

The slightly undersized Cardinal and Gold superstar didn't quite become a perennial stud at the next level, though he was a First-Team All-Pro in 2008 while with the New Orleans Saints, with whom he also won a Super Bowl. In an 11-year pro career, he also suited up for the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, and Buffalo Bills.
