Bio

During his time at LSU, Charles “Alexander the Great” was selected as a two-time consensus All-America, All-SEC and in 1977 he was selected as the SEC Most Valuable Player. Alexander set nine SEC records, tied one and set 27 LSU records during his college career. He set LSU records for most rushes in a game, most yards in a season and most yards gained per game in a season. The two-time top ten Heisman finisher, went on to play seven seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals where he amassed 2,645 rushing yards and 1,130 receiving yards. A former member of the Tiger Athletic Foundation Board of Directors, Alexander has worked with the Louisiana State Youth Opportunities Unlimited.
